Most of these are 2014 releases here in the UK, Many films I anticipate to see! Where are the likes of gravity and captain Phillips though? 12 Years a Slave definitely deserving its place 🙂 maybe should be higher

    • From a technical standpoint GRAVITY was outstanding. But from a story standpoint, the film ultimately fell victim to a lot of Hollywood cliches, complete with the hero standing tall in the final shot.

I haven’t seen CAPTAIN PHILLIPS but heard good things about it. The film didn’t strike me as being that interesting based on the trailer.

12 YEARS A SLAVE is the film Quentin Tarantino deludes himself into thinking he made with DJANGO UNCHAINED.
